• Purpose: When granted permission (ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION / ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION), the app accesses your device's GPS and network coordinates to determine the closest metro station to your current location and calculate route distances.
• In-Transit Live Tracker: While actively using the Satellite GPS Tracker feature during a metro trip, location coordinates are read to calculate your live speed (km/h) and notify you of upcoming stations.
• Storage: Your GPS location is computed in real-time in memory and is never uploaded to our servers or stored permanently.

B. Device & Technical Information:

• We may receive anonymous diagnostic information such as device model, OS version, app performance data, and crash logs to improve app stability and fix technical errors.

2. Third-Party Services and Advertising

To support ongoing development and server maintenance, this application integrates trusted third-party SDKs that may collect anonymous identifiers as governed by their respective privacy policies:

• Google Play Services & Google AdMob: Used for in-app updates, in-app reviews, and displaying non-intrusive banner/interstitial ads. AdMob uses advertising IDs to deliver relevant ads and manage consent (GDPR/UMP).

You can at any time disable location permissions or notification access via your Android device’s Settings > Apps > Delhi Metro Navigator > Permissions. You can also clear your saved favorite routes and recent searches directly inside the app settings with a single tap.
